Welcome

Welcome to Pack 249 of Richland, WA.  Our cub scout pack is sponsored by Christ the King Catholic Church, and is open to any elementary school-age boy in our community. Pack 249 is a member of the Rattlesnake Ridge District of the Blue Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

• Young Eagles Program—UPDATED JUNE 22 @ 7:30PM

  • Arrive at 8:00 am for the pancake breakfast
  • Flying begins at 9:00 am
  • Boys can fly with young pilots from the Richland Airport.
  • There is a pancake breakfast that boys can attend if desired.
  • Registration/release forms must be completed in advance and turned in upon arrival.

  • Enjoy the FEVER against the Amarillo Dusters in this home game at the Toyota Center in Kennewick.

• Resident Camp—Camp forms for boys and adults due NOW to Dave Smith for Session 1. Forms are due to Bobbi Warren for Session 3.

    • Friday, July 13 through Sunday, July 15
  • Camp Cowles Session Three
    • Sunday, July 22 through Wednesday, July 25
  • For Family Reservations: At least one parent or legal guardian must attend with their Scout. If a parent is unable to attend, a Scout may attend with another adult (preferably a relative or family friend) with a signed permission form from parent.

• August Rollerskating Event
  • A rollerskating event for the Scouts and their families is being planned for August. Check back for more information.
• September Pack Meeting
  • Tentatively Scheduled for September 20, 6:15pm in the CK Cafeteria.
  • Let's welcome new Scouts to this meeting! Remember that Popcorn sales kick off at this meeting too, and boys will receive awards for their summer activities.
